Duck Stamp Entry

This was my entry in the 2010 Michigan Duck Stamp Contest. Congratulations to JP Edwards for his winning entry.

"Darby" pencil drawing

This Yellow Lab is a recently finished commission.

Pheasant Sketch

This pheasant was done for the cover of a Pheasant Habitat Management publication. The original is for sale.

MARVI GRAS PAINTING DONE

I was able to finish up the painting for this year's Marvi Gras Golf Tournament this week. Here is the preview of "Making the Turn on #6".

ALMOST MARVI GRAS TIME

It feels like we just started these paintings for Marvi Gras and yet this year I am already on hole #6. This is the reference photo I am using for the painting. Hole 6 is a dog-leg right par 5 with trouble on both sides. This painting shows the approach to the green. The painting is getting close to being done and I'll post it when I finish.

SLOW UPDATING

I've been a bit busy recently and have failed to keep the website up to date. Here is the entry I sent in for the 2008 Federal Duck Stamp, it was a tough competition but I'd like to congratulate good friend Josh Spies on his winning entry!

THE ART OF GOLF!

A new website has been formed to showcase the beauty of Golf and I am proud to be a part of it.

Art of Golf is dedicated to promoting golf art and the artists who specialize in golf art. This site is a central repository designed to help potential buyers find artwork inspired by the wonderful game of golf.

When I was contacted to be listed on this website I was excited - there are many different artists listed with a wide array of mediums and styles. Please visit the site as often as possible as the number of artists is sure to grow! I will be adding a link to this site on my homepage very soon.
