MARVI GRAS PAINTING DONE

I was able to finish up the painting for this year's Marvi Gras Golf Tournament this week. Here is the preview of "Making the Turn on #6".

ALMOST MARVI GRAS TIME

It feels like we just started these paintings for Marvi Gras and yet this year I am already on hole #6. This is the reference photo I am using for the painting. Hole 6 is a dog-leg right par 5 with trouble on both sides. This painting shows the approach to the green. The painting is getting close to being done and I'll post it when I finish.

SLOW UPDATING

I've been a bit busy recently and have failed to keep the website up to date. Here is the entry I sent in for the 2008 Federal Duck Stamp, it was a tough competition but I'd like to congratulate good friend Josh Spies on his winning entry!

I've Moved!

I have recently accepted a position with the South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks as an Information Officer with the Division of Wildlife. I am excited for the new opportunity and am starting to settle in to my new home in Pierre. I have been a bit busy with the move, but have managed to finish a couple of new paintings and have several more in progress. I will try to post them soon.

"THE FIFTH" - RIVERS BEND COUNTRY CLUB

The painting for Marvi Gras VI is finished! This original will be sold on auction during the Marvi Gras VI Calcutta on June 6, 2008 at the Rivers Bend Country Club in Flandreau, SD.
